Are you a sustainability leader, environmental engineer, auditor, or climate professional driving Sri Lanka's industrial transition to net-zero? The Sri Lanka Climate Fund (Pvt) Ltd (SLCF), under the Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with European Union funded Accelerating Industries' Climate Response in Sri Lanka (AICRSL) project implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), invites applications for an intensive 3-day Train-the-Trainer (ToT) Programme.
This fully funded initiative aims to certify an elite cohort of 30โ35 national trainers to build sustainable in-country capacity for industrial GHG accounting, carbon footprint, and verification.
Key Highlights & Modules
- Core GHG Accounting: ISO 14064-1, ISO 14067 (Product Carbon Footprint), GHG Protocol, Scope 1โ3 calculations, and net-zero roadmaps.
- Sector-Specific Focus: Specialized modules covering Textiles & Garments, Food & Beverage (incl. Plantations), and Rubber & Plastics.
- Practical & Facilitation Mastery: Hands-on spreadsheet exercises, Sri Lankan industrial case studies, verification simulations, and adult training techniques.
Eligibility Criteria
- Target Audience: Senior sustainability managers, environmental engineers, GHG auditors, climate consultants, and university researchers.
- Academic Background: Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Process Engineering, Agriculture, or related technical fields.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in corporate sustainability, energy auditing, GHG reporting, or industrial process optimization.
